I was born in the city of Kuibyshev (now Samara) in 1948.
Starting in 1973, I worked for over 50 years at a communications company, participating in the development, design and certification of various systems, radio communications, television and radio broadcasting and warning.
I was introduced to amateur radio by the famous radio amateur Alexander Fedorovich Kamaljagin (SK) UA4IF (ex U1AP, UH8AF) and in 1970 I became an observer with the call sign UA4-133613.
I began my operator activity at the collective radio station UK4HAW, working on the air with my colleagues UA4IU (SK), UA4IQ (SK), UA4IN, UA4IJ, UA4HAL, UA4HBP, UA4HBR, UA4HFK and other operators.
From 1971 to 1978 he worked as RA4HDE. Since 1979 he had the call sign UA4HAD and worked with a break from 1990 to 2017 until 2024.
In July-August 1989, together with the operators: UA0IAP (SK), UA0IAY, UA0ZDA, UA4HBR I was a member of the expedition to the Koryak National District of Kamchatka (QTH: Ust-Khairuzovo) with the call sign 4L0X, and in July 1990, my colleagues UA0IAP (SK), UA0IAY, UA9KO, UA4IU (SK), UA4HBR, UB5ILU and I worked in the IARU HF Championship with the call sign RW0I from ITU zone 25 (QTH: Chaibukha). Having finished working in Samara in 2022, I retired and moved to a new place of residence in the Utash farm near the city of Anapa, working with the call sign UA4HAD/6. In 2024, I began working on the air with a new call sign RN7B.
