In commemoration of G.E. Lessing, the great poet, dramatist and thinker of the Age of Enlightenment.
The Kamenz branch (DOK S22) of the German Amateur Radio Society DARC takes pleasure in issuing this beautiful award to any licensed radio amateur or SWL who submits proof of two-way radio contact or confirmed SWL reports respectively with stations in Kamenz (Lessing's birthplace) and in the different towns Lessing used to live and work in.
Applicants for this award need 50 points.
Contacts count as follows:
1 contact with the club station DL0GEL = 10 points
contacts with stations of DOK S22 = 5 points each
confirmations from DE (SWL) stations of DOK S22 = 5 points each
contacts with amateur radio stations in the following towns:
Berlin, Braunschweig, Hamburg, Breslau (Wroclaw), Leipzig, Meissen, Wolfenboettel = 3 points
Contacts in CW count double.
Each station counts per band and per mode separately. There are no band or mode restrictions.
One contact with DL0GEL and at least three more (on VHF/UHF: two) with other stations from DOK S22 are compulsary.
All contacts must be dated January 1, 1994 or later. The submission of QSL cards is not required.
