(A) Aim of Issue
The Kerkennah Award is issued to promote the growing of ham radio in Tunisia.
With the money left, we buy equipment to set up new stations in Tunisia.
(B) Conditions of Issue
1) All modes permitted by the applicant's license may be used.
2) The Kerkennah Award will be issued initially when the applicant submits evidence of confirmed a minimum of 10 contacts with ham radio stations from Kerkennah Islands in different modes (SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, Hell, etc.) and bands (2m, 6m, 10 – 160m). Contacts with these stations will count:
3V8BT in March 2000
TS7N in November 2000
TS7N in November/December 2003
4) There will be a charge for the issue of the Kerkennah Award. All money, which remains after the expensis is used for the promotion of the amateur radio in Tunisia. The status will be published from time to time on the homepage of the Tunisian Amateur Radio Society ASTRA. The payment should be included with the application in USD or Euro.

(C) Applications for Kerkennah Award
1) A computer generated or hand written list will be accepted.
2) All applications must be verified by the applicant's local club or by to other licensed hams before forwarding. The Kerkennah Award will be issued once the appropriate fee is received.
3) The award will be sent upon receipt of the following fee :
Euro or USD 10,00
If one sends more money to support ham radio in Tunisia, we will publish the call on the ASTRA homepage.
